lyrics

"Bucket Of Rain"
Broderick

I don't believe in anyone but myself
It's so hard for me to trust anyone else
Might be in my head, I just can't tell
It's just something in my heart, that I've felt

Who are you looking to blame today?
What kind of clouds hold your tears today?
There's no use in the weather, no, no
When you're holding a bucket of rain

In my life, there is pleasure
In my life, there is sorrow
In my life, there is leisure
But is there really happiness?

I don't believe that a life could fall apart
It's a puzzling world for one to get caught
There's too many pieces, and you have thought
So put it together, to see what you haven't got

Who are you looking to impress today?
Does their opinion give you away?
It's not enough for anyone
If you're looking for satisfaction

In my life, there is pleasure
In my life, there is sorrow
In my life, there is leisure
But is there really happiness?

We're always holding a bucket of rain
We're always holding a bucket of rain
I've seen rain, I've seen rain, I've seen it rain on the town
Don't you know the world is round?
