lyrics

"Rather Be Blind"
Broderick

Watching TV, a ship on the sea
Casting the anchor down on your dreams
It's not healthy, you won't get wealthy
Filling up your head with all of this

The people there
Don't care about the place they're living in
I know and I know that hope is slowing fading
And I hope I don't choke on the smoke
Slowly invading my world

Believing in lies, the man in the disguise
Friends are sometimes the ones behind it all
Did you really think that the elected wouldn't laugh at you?
Did you really think they wouldn't turn on you?

The people there
Don't care about the place they're living in, no, no
I know and I know that hope is slowing fading
And I hope I don't choke on the smoke
Slowly invading my world

My world
The people there
Don't care about the place they're living in, no, no
I know and I know that hope is slowing fading
And I hope I don't choke on the smoke
Slowly invading my world

You'd rather be blind
You'd rather be blind, no
You'd rather be blind, cause
You'd rather be blind

Why oh why would you rather be blind?
Why oh why would you rather be blind?
Why oh why would you rather be blind?
Why oh why, yeah, yeah, yeah
