lyrics

"Tear It Down"
Broderick

The people there, they don't care
They got it all figured out,
Got no time to work things out

Build up yourself in your head,
You're so sure you could be king
You think the world owes you something
The world don't owe you a thing

You'll run down around the town
Till everyone can see you now
Don't we all want to be part of the crowd?

And you tear it down
And you tear it down
And you tear it down
And you tear it down
And you tear it down

Once your chance is gone, it's too late
You'll drive yourself insane
And channel your anger into hate
You're only human

Though we are just so small
When compared to the earth and stars
We are sure that there's some truth
We could understand it all

And you tear it down
And you tear it down
And you tear it down
And you tear it down
And you tear it down
